History of the Heartland Football League

The Heartland Football League (HFL) is entering its inaugural season in 2009. The HFL was built based on a need for a league that will put teams first. It is the HFL's belief on being transparent in regards to issues such as voting on bylaws to league finances. Each team will elect a spokesperson, or a "BOD" member to vote on behalf of their team on all league issues such as, but not limited to: league by laws, fines, championship/ all-star game sites, approval of league finances, and etc. The BOD members will also receive weekly emails of league finances such as when a team has paid their league fee and what expenses has been paid out from the league. It is the goal of the HFL to host a Championship & All Star game weekend giving players and their families to enjoy two games on the same weekend.
